Huanaote silver-polymetallic deposit is located in southern margin of Siberia plate, the western part of Dong- wuqi-Xilinhaote polymetallic metallogenic belt. The Pb-Zn (Ag) mineralization in this deposit mainly occurs in the frac-ture zones and Devonian Angeeryinwula formation.Based on ore deposit geology, three mineralization stages can be rec-ognized in this deposit, including K-silification,greisenization and quartz-chlorite-sulphide stage. The petrographic.micro- thermometric,LRM was conducted to the fluid inclusions in quartz and calcite from varied mineralization stage. The char-acteristics of ore- forming fluids, form stage one to stage three, are from high- temperature(282Tl -434T;),high- salinity (36.83wt% -51.32wt% NaCleq),high metallic element fluid via midlie- high temperature (281^-374^),low salinity (0.71wt%-4.65wt%NaCleq) fluid to medium-low temperature (192^-279^),low salinity (1.05wt%?5.56wt%NaCleq) C02 and CH4 bearing fluid. The H-0 isotopic compositions imply a magmatic origin of the early ore-forming fluid and with meteoric water contamination at later mineralization stage.S isotope results imply a deep magmatic source of the ore-forming material. The change of physicochemical conditions caused by boiling and fluid mixing is the main reason for the ore precipitation. Integrating the spatial distribution of varied mineralization and alteration styles, mineral assem-blage and fluid inclusion results,it can be concluded that Huanaote silver- polymetallic deposit is an epithermal deposit and genetically related to syenogranite.
