Metallogenic Model and Integrated Prospecting Pattern of the Luziyuan Pb-Zn Polymetallic Deposit, Southwestern Yunnan Province
详细信息
摘要

The Luziyuan lead-zinc polymetallic deposit, tectonically located in the Baoshan-Zhenkang Pb-Zn-Cu-Fe-Sb-Au metaUogenic belt of Sanjiang metallogenic Province, is a superlarge ore deposit discovered in recent years. Based on years of research work in this study area combined with previous achievements obtained by other geologists, the authors have summed up the prospecting criteria for the Luziyuan lead-zinc polymetallic deposit, and established an ore-forming model and prospecting pattern. It has been shown by preliminary studies that the Luziyuan lead-znic polymetallic deposit is a superimposed transformation-type deposit. The Upper Cambrian strata seem to have been its host rocks which might have provided initial ore source, and the Indosinian basic mag- matic rocks provided some ore-forming materials; in addition, the location of the ore deposit was controlled by the Yanshanian and Himalayan concealed intermediate acid intrusive rocks.
