bottom-alt: auto" class=MsoNormal>Shoreline of the Binhai New Area has changed quickly in the past ten years. To detect its spatio-temporal changes and causation, a set of remote sensing images and correlative historical documents were collected and the shoreline information were chosen out and interpreted. The results show that the shoreline was in a continuous siltation and extension process in principle, especially since 2007.  More anti-erosion measurements should be given to those erosion-prone sectors, which were the Dashengtang Village to Jianjiang River estuary shoreline sector and the Qikou River estuary to Qingjinghuang Channel shoreline sector.
