摘要
This paper observed and revised Jinlijingpus nianpanshanensis Young et al.1987,from the Shaximiao Formation(Middle Jurassic) of Nianpanshan village,Jinlijing Town,Zizhong County,Sichuan Province. The footprints are classified as Eubrontes ichnogen.,and are recombine as Eubrontes nianpanshanensis comb.nov.The characteristics of the new footprints are as follows:length is longer than wide, the size of the first trackway’s footprints is 39.8 cm long and 33.7 cm wide in average, while the second trackway’s footprints’ is 26 cm long,24.2 cm wide in average. The depth of two trackways’ footprints between at 2.5-3.0 cm,no manus tracks.Footprint-makers were bipedal, with three-toed feet, with claw at toe-end,digitigrade dinosaurs.Toe Ⅲ is the longest toe.Two trackways’ divaricate angle of digits are Ⅱ25°Ⅲ33°Ⅳ and Ⅱ29°Ⅲ30.6°Ⅳ respectively.Ratio of pace length and footprint length is 2.5,ratio of external trackway width and footprint width is 1.5,pace angulation(degrees) is about 160°.According to footprints’ shape, size, depth, direction and speed,it is concluded that the footprint-makers of those two trackways may be have some genetic relationship.
