摘要
The digitalization on fossil Populus davidiana Dode leaf, which is two-dimensional shape and from the Oligocene in the Lanzhou Basin, has been carried out by making use of the combination of the flatted scanner and GetData Graph Digitizer software, and the basic data about the main parameters of leaf physiognomy were obtained. It shows that the method of getting data from the two-dimensional shape fossil leaves with software is practical, and these basic data can been used for quantitative analysis on physiognomy and fossil leaf 3D reconstruction for popular science propaganda.
