Prediction and Prevention of Collapse-Slide Hazards Occurred in Costal Zone of Three Gorges Reservoir of
Based on the field investigation, the authors considered that, besides the existing hundreds of landslide massifs, more collapse-slide hazards would occur in the forthcoming several decades during the reservoir bank in the process of reconstruction, and posed a great threat on ecological security, engineering safety and the safety of homestead. Therefore, the authors evaluated the bank sediments stability and degree of hazards in the reservoir area, and some suggestions were put forward on the future development of the area.
