Based on previous studies, the quaternary activity of Guanlan fault was investigated with the methods of geological and geomorphic survey, combined borehole detecting, OSL and ESR dating. The results indicate that neither the physiognomy divergence nor the deformation of recent tectonics can be found on both sides of Guanlan fault which cuts across the low hills and tableland region.
