Xingdi fracture zone is a major fracture, and different understanding about the tectonic history of this fracture exists. Considering there is no measurement about the Xingdi fracture, this study interprets the satellite remote sensing images and determines the geometry characteristics of this fracture. By determining the cut and displaced boundaries of Devonian sedimentary rocks, Carboniferous granite and granodiorite, and dyke swarm emplaced in them, a measurement of 8.26~9.19 km can be convinced as the sinistral strike-slip displacement of the Xingdi fracture.
