Through comprehensive evaluation for Carboniferous hydrocarbon source rocks distribution, organic matter abundance, types and maturity, it is considered that there are widespread source rocks of dark mudstone and carbonaceous mudstone in Hexi Corridor region, and the hydrocarbon source rocks have the characteristics of large thickness, high abundance, II-III types kerogen. There are the best Carboniferous hydrocarbon source rocks within Zhongwei-Jingyuan area in the east of Hexi Corridor region, among which the potential of Jingyuan Formation and Yanghugou Formation hydrocarbon source rocks is the highest. In conclusion, there is great material foundation of Carboniferous hydrocarbon generation in Hexi Corridor region, which is the reason for this set of stratum worthy of attention.hemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
