Because Chinese economy grows faster and Chinese government protects basic farmland more strictly, more and more fossil fuel power plants, most of which are large size pithead power plants, are built in mountain area. In this paper, on the basis of study on large-scale landslides influence on site stability evaluation of Faer Power Plant(4×600 MW) in Guizhou Province, the practical evaluation mode on landslides influence on site stability evaluation for fossil fuel power plants is provided. The mode is to explore based on geological conditions of the landslide, and to analyze the stability of the landslide, to ascertain the feasible zone according to geotechnical conditions, and to put with some suggestions how to treat the landslide.
