According to the characteristics of the oil and gas resources, only in the nonuniform strata and under the transitional or quasi-steady tectonic conditions, can the reservoir-forming trap propitiously form. Nonuniform hydrocarbon accumulation traps can easier form in the transitional sedimentary or tectonic environment and in the superimposed basin formed by multicycle structure, especially above or below the unconformity interface formed by multiple tectonic movements in the superimposed basin. In the evaluation of the oil and gas accumulation, these three are dependent on and influential each other.Among them, the nonuniform characteristics of a hydrocarbon accumulation trap determined by the characteristics of oil and gas resources are the dominant conditions, and in the transitional sedimentary or tectonic environment and in the superimposed basin formed by multicycle structure, especially above or below the unconformity interface formed by multiple tectonic movements in the superimposed basin,a nonuniform hydrocarbon accumulation trap is easier to form. The latter two points are the necessary conditions determined by the leading character.
