Finite Element Modeling of 2.5-D Tem Using Unstructured Meshes

摘要
 In this paper,Delaunay triangulation method was used to realize unstructured triangular mesh generation of 2D model through programming,and the central loop transient electromagnetic method 2.5D finite element forward modeling program was completed.Compared with the previous results and under same accuracy condition,the number of grids and nodes of unstructured grid method is significantly reduced and computational efficient compared with the structured grid.By introducing the unstructured grid method to 2.5-D transient electromagnetic forward modeling,we realized the finite element numerical simulation of complex 2D geo-electric model and improved the existing finite element method’s range of applications.
