Mt. Funiushan World Geopark, Nanyang City, P. R. C lies in a mountainous area, southwest of Henan province. The styles of physiognomy are mainly small mountains and hills. The earth surface mainly shows metamorphic and intruded rock. The rock bodies are weathered strongly and rich in keep fissure water. There are many geological structures and various human activities. There are complicated geology environment conditions in this geopark. This geopark is located in the area with geological hazards. Through field investigation and estimation, the main geological hazards are rockfall, landslip and swelling soil. In view of its characteristic of tourism, prevention countermeasures of geological hazards are put forward for ensuring the sustainable development of its tourism economy.
