Tabel Depression is a secondary structural unit of the Tamuchage Basin, which locates in the east of Mongolia and goes into China northward, and belongs to the identical structural unit with Haila’er Basin. Tabel Depression is a sedimentary sequence structural unit of region which is constrained by high angle uncomformable surfaces in Early Cretaceous in Tamuchage Basin. The analysis of tectonic settling process etc. has revealed that the depression has three times evolution cycles of deposition rate variation, and which is divided into three various subside phases including slow speedup phase in early stage of Early Crataceous , fast speedup phase in Early Crataceous midrange and fast—slow speedup phase in late period of Early Crataceous.
