摘要
It has been a long-term argument question that the plates merge of the East Tianshan—orogenetic movements occurred in the end of the Devonian-Early Carboniferous Epoch,or the Late Carboniferous Epoch or the Early Permian Epoch.Recent researches of early-middle Carboniferous moderate-acid volcanic rocks, volcanic rhythms and lithochemistry at the south of the East Tianshan orogenetic zone, which were undertaken during the geological mapping at a scale of 1∶50.000 in Aqishan area of Shanshan County in Xinjiang, suggested that the set of volcanic rocks to be attributed in typical assemblage of island-arc volcanic rocks, indicating that the period of the Early-Middle Carboniferous Epoch should be the significant age for the emerges of the Tianshan oceanic basins.
