Delta-turbidite depositional system is extensively developed in the Dongying Sag in the middle Es3,according to the vertical variation of the sand formation.Dongying delta in the middle Es3is divided from top to the bottom into 1-9different stages they are progressively deposited into the the center of the lake basin from east to west;there are three types of sandbodies.associated with delta front turbidites,they are:sliding turbidite,slump turbidite and distal turbidite.Among them the slump turbidite is the most stable one both in scale and in number,it is the important type for quantitative research of the front turbidites.The author used the method of control variables to explore the relationship between single factors,and then analyzes the relationship between multiple factors,and quantitatively researched the front turbidite of Dongying delta in the middle Es3to explore the quantitative relationship between the structure of deltaic sediments and the front slump turbidites.The study found that the structural characteristics of delta deposition(the thickness of the front delta strata H,sandstone percentage content x,etc.),the distance of turbidite slip s and the size of slope angle of the front deltaα,can be quantitatively determined,and the thickness of the slump turbidite of front delta hand the thickness of the front delta strata H,the front sandstone percentage content x are positively correlated and it’s negatively related with the distance of turbidite slip s,and has probed into and achieved the mathematical model for prediction of the thickness hof slump turbidite of the delta front.
