摘要
Different sediment provenances would bring about various sedimentary environments and different sedimentary characteristics, and in response to that, there would be various groundwater chemical characteristics, groundwater hydrodynamic systems and groundwater cycles. This study analyzes the groundwater chemical characteristics based on sediment provenance analysis—taking Beijing Plain as an example. First, the authors sampled and experimented on the basis of groundwater regional systems, then analyzed the sediment provenance and its sedimentary characteristics synthetically by typical mineral assemblage method, chemical index of alteration and correlation analysis; all the methods show a coincident conclusion that there are mainly two provenances of Beijing Plain, which are originated from the Chaobaihe River which flows through the Yanshan Mountains and from the Yongdinghe River which flows through the Western Hill.
