摘要
Yellow River alluvial fan is the largest alluvial fan in the piedmont region of East-Central China, and its major part is located in Henan Province. The distribution of the Central Plain cities, their development scales and directions, and their industrial structures are jointly determined by the formation, the geological environment, the stratigraphic and lithologic structure and the hydrogeologic characteristics of the Yellow River alluvial fan, as well as the geologic conditions and resources in adjacent geomorphic units. By studying the formation and evolution of the Yellow River alluvial fan, and its geologic and hydrogeologic conditions, the authors discussed the advantages and influencing factors concerning the sustainable development of Central Plain cities, in order to provide scientific evidence for the urban planning and the reconstruction of the Central Plain cities.
