Kalatage is a newly discovered copper-zinc-gold metal ore field in the East Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang. This paper makes analysis to the high-resolution QuickBird satellite remote sensing data, and combines with the data of geological surveys in the mine to extract line-ring structures of every level associated with mineralization.  Finally, a preliminary prediction on mineralization is made, resulting in five preferred prospecting areas.
