Low resistivity oil and gas reservoirs are referred as the reservoir that the index of resistivity is less than 3.0, the water saturation is more than 50%, or the resistivity is lower than the low limit value of resistivity for normal oil and gas reservoirs. This kind of oil and gas reservoir has been found in many oilfields.Taking the Cretaceous reservoirs of Luliang Oilfield in Junggar Basin as an example, this paper adopted the geochemical methods such as saturated hydrocarbon chromatogram, the content of bitumen "A", reservoir fluorescence and physical property to identify oil and gas reservoirs, which evaded the above influence factors and could be used to identify low resistivity oil reservoirs and thin oil reservoirs.
