Taertaxia area of Xinyuan County is located in favorable Awulale copper, lead and zinc polymetallic ore forming zone in the western Tianshan. Based on the summary of ore controlling conditions in the region and soil measurement anomaly in the scale of 1 to 10 000, the factors which caused geochemical anomaly in the region are analyzed and the district that the further exploration should be focused on is proposed, namely near E-W striking arc type fracture zone in south part of the region is prospective for concealed hydrothermal filling-replacement type copper, lead and zinc deposit.
