摘要
High-resolution sequence stratigraphy has successfully been used in predicting marine reservoirs since1990's. Yet its application to lacustrine reservoir correlations has not been reported.This paper deals with application of lacustrine sequence stratigraphy to precise sand bodies correlations based on recognition of parasequences andparasequence sets,lake-level change analysis,division of sequence stratigraphic hierarchy on individual wells andcross well correlations. Different results for reservoir correlations have been yielded by means of high resolution sequence stratigraphy from those with traditional technique. And about 15% of oil sand bodies were miscorrelatedwith the traditional lithology-log method in Linpan Oilfield
