While chiral triazole carbenes catalyze an intramolecular cyclization reaction of title compounds (I), a combination of triazole carbene and Ti(OiPr)4 catalyzes the intramolecular dimerization to afford indeno-furan-derivatives (II) with high stereoselectivities under the same reaction conditions.
