Peptidomimetic foldamers α-Aminoxy peptides have been discovered as a novel class of foldamers with potent anticancer activity. A comprehensive investigation of their conformational properties revealed that α-aminoxy peptides can adopt a 2
8-helical conformation. In the presence of liposomes as a model membrane, the most cytotoxic oligomers showed an increased propensity to fold into the 2
