Hairong Zheng, Zhen Yuan, and co-workers design a general method to prepare multimodal nanoprobes based on protein-modified CuS nanotriangles which can conjugate with functional blocks using abundant reaction groups of protein in article 1601094. Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid-Gd3+ is linked on the platform to prove the idea, the as-prepared nanoprobe is successfully used for in vivo photoacoustic/magnetic resonance dual-modal tumor imaging.
