Multiple Dynamic Equilibriums (MDE) is proposed to complete design of large PFHE. Large heat transfer area is divided into MDE according to temperature difference. Long stream is divided into MDE using energy conservation in enthalpy change. Heat transfer process is divided into MDE with various working conditions. MDE is applicable for various stacking patterns of long hot and cold streams.
