Variety-based research on the phenolic content in the aerial parts of organically and conventionally grown buckwheat

We investigated phenolic compounds in buckwheat aerial parts.

Five phenolics were identified and quantified in 15 varieties and 2 farming systems.

Amount of phenolics differ significantly in all aerial parts of buckwheat.

Variety was more influential factor to the amount of phenolics than farming system.
