A WRIG based WES in a hybrid grid supplying power during both islanded and utility conditions is studied.
WRIG is current controlled aiming regulation of stator voltage and frequency and effective power transfer.
All possible operating modes are formulated with focus on conditions like overload, no load, short circuit faults etc.,
Depending on wind/load, the dynamic performance of the system is investigated experimentally.
The results confirm the efficacious working of WRIG.
