Cry1Aa domain II loops 2 and 3 are involved in interaction with BmABCC2. Overlapping loop regions on Cry1Aa recognize two receptors, BmABCC2 and BtR175. Cytotoxicity mediated by receptors does not always correlate with binding affinity.
