Bioflavonoid hesperetin overcome bicalutamide induced toxicity by co-delivery in novel SNEDDS formulations: Optimization, in vivo evaluation and uptake mechanism
Co-delivery by HSP in SNEDDS has overcome BCT induced tissue toxicities in rats. SNEDDS resulted in increase in oral bioavailability of BCT and HSP. ROS generation by HSP in PC-3 cells may be responsible for apoptosis. SNEDDS were absorbed by lymphatic pathway and clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Thermogravimetric analysis confirmed the polymorphic behavior of BCT.
