Znsingle bondMn alloys were deposited from acidic chloride baths.

The presence of NH4SCN and 4-HB additives increases the Mn content.

An outstanding smooth surface was obtained in presence of additives.

A fiber texture along the 〈110〉direction appears for Znsingle bondMn alloys.

Znsingle bondMn deposit with 17% Mn content shows higher corrosion resistance than pure Zn.
