The effects of toxic cyanobacteria and hypoxia on mussels were determined. Pathological changes of mussels exposed to cyanobacteria and hypoxia were observed. Hypoxia caused more severe effects on the gill structure than the harmful algae. Digestive gland appeared more resistant to hypoxia than to M. aeruginosa.
