X-ray μCT & spherical harmonics can be applied for particles down to 3 μm in size. VSI affects the shape of crushed fines in the size range of 3 μm to 250 μm. For particles ≤ 15 μm rock mineralogy is affecting the impact from VSI. Micro-flakiness index (μFI) is a new parameter for shape of crushed fine particles.
