Cerium-based modification treatment was developed on Mg-Al hydrotalcite film. The deposition behavior was controlled by Ce(NO3)3 concentration. The micro-cracks of Mg-Al hydrotalcite film were sealed. The corrosion resistance of cerium-based modified films was improved.
