The behavioral impairment following JEV inoculation lasted from 10 and 33 dpi. Glutamate levels increased whereas its NR1, NR2Aand NR2B were decreased in different brain regions. There was evidence of oxidative stress from 10 and 33 dpi. Oxidative markers, glutamate levels and its receptors correlated in different brain regions.
