Effect of surface preparation of copper on spin-coating driven self- assembly of fullerene molecules

The formation of fullerene self-assemblies on copper based substrates was demonstrated using spin-coating. Size, shape and morphology of the fullerene self-assemblies strongly depend on copper surface preparation as well as spin-coating conditions. Fullerene rods can be obtained in a controllable fashion on graphene coated copper substrates with the spin-speed governing the size of the rods.
