Seismic dataset store and disclose important information’s on the deformation distributed around large (km) fault structures.
Around the fault km-scale structures we map Seismic Distortion Zones defined by low signal/noise distortion/discontinuities.
By using cluster analysis methods we investigate the seismic signature and explore possible seismic facies of the Seismic Distortion Zones.
We propose an image processing workflow procedure to extract the structural signal from seismic noise footprint.
