The dynamic model with impact is established in commercial software ADAMS. Five interesting influence elements are discussed respectively. A pool trial was conducted and relevant results in this experiment are compared with the corresponding simulation data. Several effective advices are proposed to the design of a docking system and to the docking control of the companion AUV.
