Effects of wastewater were investigated on As(V) and Cr(VI) reduction in soil. Reduction influenced mobility and bioavailability of the metal(loid)s in soil. The rate of reduction of As(V) was less than Cr(VI) for all treatments. The leaching experiment indicated that Cr(VI) was more mobile than As(V). The dissolved organic carbon-induced reduction showed variable results on metal(loid) mobility.
