Self-supported binder-free CFS/MnO2 electrodes were simply synthesized. Disposable bamboo chopsticks show great superiorities in environmental benign. The CFS/MnO2 electrodes exhibit excellent electrochemical performance. The strategy presents a scalable route to make sustainable electrodes for practical applications.
