Cobalt incorporated Fe3O4-Carbon nanotube nanocomposites are synthesized. Highly active catalyst for NaBH4 hydrolysis. H2 production rate of 1213 mL g−1 min−1 was achieved at room temperature. Activation energy of reaction catalyzed by 5%Co-FeCNT nanocomposite was 42.79 kJ mol−1 Magnetically recoverable catalyst.
