The manufacturing process for a custom-built gold AFM cantilevers has been developed. The parametrized FE models of the AFM cantilever for mechanical characterization have been prepared. Key parameters under investigation are the cantilever spring constant and the resonance frequencies. The application of developed probes for AFM, TERS, CSAFM, and KPFM has been demonstrated.
