We perform a large array of direct numerical simulations (DNS) of liquid bridge formation. We consider different particle-particle separations and film heights in systems involving particles of different size. The liquid bridge volume is calculated by identifying the bridge's neck positions. A dynamic model describing liquid bridge formation is calibrated with DNS data.
