Bioactive chitosan-sulfonated chitosan-PCL nanofibers scaffolds were prepared. Addition of NaOH treated PCL nanofibers (H-PCL) caused larger pore size formation. The increase of H-PCL in the scaffold structures has induced more CaP precipitation. Improvement in mechanical properties was observed by adding more H-PCL nanofibers. H-PCL embedding in the scaffold provided ECM-like environment for cellular behavior.
