SWCNT-based electrochemical immunosensors for quantification of CD4+ T cells is developed. The SWCNT immunosensor system employs the two-step O2 plasma-treatment method. Two-step O2 plasma-treatment generates more carboxyl functional groups on SWCNT. Two-step O2 plasma-treatment provides higher antibody conjugation on SWCNT. Enhanced electrocatalytic properties of SWCNT endows accurate measurement of CD4+ T cells.
