Dynamical factors of jellyfish bloom near Qinhuangdao are identified as the surface residual current, wind and temperature. Jellyfish particles influencing waters near Qinhuangdao decreases with depth. Wind and current direction in northeastern Bohai Bay is more important for bloom than sea temperature in potential source.
