Buckling and vibration analysis of embedded functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composite annular sector plates under thermal loading

The buckling and vibration of thermally pre-stressed embedded FG-CNTRC annular sector plates are investigated. An efficient numerical method employed within the framework of variational formulation. The two-dimensional GDQ method is used for discretization procedure. The effect of initial thermal loading on the natural frequency is studied. The influences of different geometrical parameters, volume fractions and types of distributions of CNTs are explored.
