Distribution of dynamic earth pressures measured by transducers is triangle shape. Phase difference depend on deformation, wall rigidity and frequency of input. Phase difference between wall and soil influence the dynamic earth pressure. Inertial force of the wall should be accounted for when designing cantilever wall. Mononobe–Okabe method is an upper bound for coefficient of dynamic earth pressure.
