High quality ZnO nanorods grown using two novel methods enriched with 18O isotopes. The nanorods SEM, XRD, Raman and Photoluminescence characterization was carried out. Morphology and crystal structure of the material is of high quality. O-enriched ZnO is of excellent optical quality, for defect studies. Possible explanations for the enrichment levels measured are discussed.
