Local Entropy Map (LEM) is used to study the relationship between obesity and socioeconomic status (SES). Two SES factors, Household SES and Neighborhood SES are derived via factor analysis. Spatial variations of the relationship at school district level are revealed. Four regions show significant relationship but in different forms. The findings should be considered for regional scale intervention strategies.
